CS-G602 金属空心O形圈是由一个空心金属圆环组成，内部填充惰性气体，外圈一般由合金材料制成。该密封圈独特的材质能实现其它密封件不能满足的要求。垫片独特的结构能实现其它通用垫片不能满足的要求，在高温、高压及超真空的设备及装置中，只需较低的预紧力，即使所需密封的地方较窄小或形状有些特殊，它都能随之而改变自身的形状，有效地起到密封。它尤其适合于一些结构较紧凑，密封要求较高的设备及装置中。如果需要，金属O型圈的表面可进行的特殊的处理。
安装前，应仔细检查并清理密封槽表面，不允许有辐射状，交叉状划伤，压痕和其他附着物等。一般情况下，在自由状态下预压扁。O型圈槽的外径要比金属槽的外径要大0.55毫米。槽的内径要比金属O型圈的内径小0.44毫米，为进一步增强金属O型圈的密封性能。可以在密封圈的外进行表面渡金、银、F4。
